Bus – Rapid KL

RapidKL Buses are buses operated by the largest bus operator in Malaysia, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd. You will have to buy tickets which costs approximately MYR0.80-MYR3, depending on the distance that you will be travelling in these buses. The tickets are bought from the drivers of the bus once you get in. However, there are certain buses that do not sell tickets anymore, and require you to use your Touch ‘n Go cards instead.

As of now, RapidKL provides connectivity to over 1000 housing estates covering 170 routes in the Klang Valley and Selangor. It also shuttles LRT and Monorail travelers to and from the stations.
Rapid Penang concentrates in operating bus services in Pulau Pinang, a northern state in Malaysia. Bus services are available on Penang Island and Butterworth, covering 46 routes in total. It also oversees bus services operated by Rapid Kamunting.
For those looking to travel in Kuantan, Pahang, Rapid Kuantan’s bus operations cover 12 routes in total. Unique to Kuantan, many of these bus routes are recognized as social routes in collaboration with Malaysia’s Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) efforts to serve the people.
